I bought an old mahogany bureau on Ebay. I didn't really want a bureau as we're meant to be downsizing, but it was a beautiful piece & obviously very old. Google lens suggests the brass chased handles are Queen Anne. That's 1702-1714 😯

I was in town today & took a stroll past Trafalgar Square just as the peaceful protesters were being carried off. There were so many police vans about that you'd have thought a riot was going down. A tourist asked me what was happening. I tried to explain. She replied "but these people are elderly".

Conflating the hateful actions of Israel with the British Jewish community feels very wrong to me. Surely this fuels antisemitism.

Get some of those nice CBD drinks in the fancy cans. They do fuck all to make me calmer, but they do taste nice and are aesthetically pleasing enough to convince me I am drinking something worth drinking. Good luck, however you choose to tackle it. And enjoy getting pissed up tonight!
