I’ve never seen a block set, I barely remember core sets, and FNM has always meant commander (though I like 60 card).

This isn’t “profiting off of minorities”, this is “minorities exist in our story”. I’ve met people involved in the making of Magic—they’re not trying to profit off of a community that is kind of infamously not wealthy.
