It's a very fast resource management game and that's ok! ID wanted to make a different experience to 2016 and I respect that deeply. The Shotgun goddamn rules.

I think I started following just before or just after Death of the Outside and then kept following because just general game dev and then Castlevania, Castlevania and more Castlevania.

Academically the uni is currently firmly against it if it's replacing the main skill they are getting you to learn. i.e no generating art for a concept art course. Honestly I think that's sadly going to change as more of the industry at Triple A adopts AI.

Gubbins might be a good one if he's into word puzzles, as it's free,fun, has no ads and a free game a day or unlimited games for a cheap price if he really likes it.

While nothing specific gameplay wise, Gran Turismo 7 did a login campaign last year and pipes in Christmas music to the menus as well as Christmassy scapes where you place a car next to massive Christmas trees lol.

If you're on PC with a decent RTX card, rack up that ray-tracing! Since it's all interiors like Control, I didn't see the major frame rate dips that normally get me to turn it off.
