This is why Cuomo was so eminently unfit for office. He never had a normal experience with any normal New Yorker. He fundamentally didn't understand what it means to live in this city, with people of all different backgrounds, and see that as a source of massive strength and joy.

Overpaid centrist and right wing sociopaths live in a bubble and cannot understand the empathy and love that everyday, normal people have for their trans family members and immigrant friends and neighbors. They want people to compromise, to throw away the humans they love. Fuck that forever.
