I didn’t expect to be so star struck by Johnny Marr at CBGB Fest yesterday.

I shit on Morrisey for good reason, but hearing Marr play The Smiths reminded me how much those songs mean to me. He’s a one-of-a-kind guitarist, and people sleep on him as a singer too

I’ll miss y’all at NYCC this year!

Between grad school and working full-time as a (student) teacher, it just would’ve been too stressful. I need time to relax and catch up on my studies.

I graduate at the end of the summer 2026 semester, so hopefully I’ll see you all again at Javits next fall!
