Apparently, our government has collectively decided to give up any pretense that we aren't, in fact, the bad guys.

We *should* be so much better than this, too. I don't have words adequate to describe how let down I feel by so many.

My favorite was when a whole wake of vultures was arrayed in someone's front yard, among the "Happy 40th birthday" signs.

Oh. It's been literally a couple of decades since we were moving in the same social circles; I'm saddened to find out that she seems to have been a pretty hardcore bigot in the ensuing years.

Someone else will mourn her. Or maybe they won't. Shame that'll be her legacy, though.

Ah. I feel awkward now. Usually, I try not to comment if it's not particularly adding to the conversation. So if I just want to say, "Your thoughts/feelings are valid," or "This thing you did is great!" I usually just drop a like.

Apologies if it came across as sinister instead of supportive. :/
