On Saturday I stepped outside.
Well, I do every day. But when I stooped to pick up a piece of trash that had blown across, I was taken by the colors and textures here. A not so special spot in my yard that really is beautiful as it decays.

I for one think the Epstein Ballroom will be magnificent. I love the decor theme of “what if Uday Hussein ran a Ramada Inn.” And giving it a theme song everyone will associate with it is a stroke of brilliance! “Thank Heaven for Little Girls” is very catchy.

Sourdough Focaccia is deceptively difficult. I started this on Thursday. One large will be for dinner, smaller ones are savory and sweet for snacks.
