Well I need a cable from the fibre access point (in one room) to the router (in the hall). The router is then wired into my PC though a cable in the floor.

Bit annoying as the exact place I want to run the cable already has a mains cable along the skirting board. I guess we could run unshielded a foot up the wall instead but might be a bit weird.
Shielded has to be earthed right? I wonder how they can do that though.

I just ordered a cat6a cable to go from access point to router. That will be enough if they offer a 2500mbps option later (they surveyor mentioned that). Though the cable to my PC is only 5e, but should be OK for 900mbps (I'll test and see I guess).

900 down 120ish up. That's the fastest. I only want the fast upload tbh. Can try out new router and see if the wifi on that is any good but we also have some BT disc things (will check specs). My PC is wired in though cat5e

I knew it was probably bullshit but when I signed up on line it said 7 day wait time. But then I got a date more like 2 weeks and though OK. But even that date was fake and the "real" date in March could be subject to change.

Fights also seem more manageable as they don't have like 10+ enemies. Some of BG3s fights were too big/long imho. Maybe that changes later in this game. We'll see...
