Could well be. I sometimes see the berries in early winter, when all the other fruit is gone. So they're nobody's first choice, if at all.

Lovely sequence- I like to imagine the bee satisfied at a job well done 😊

Waxwings will eat them sometimes, and they draw lots of bees. I've never seen deer (or any mammal) touch them.

It's one of RFKs weird fixations, so they need to put it up top so senpai will love them

5e/others Planescape setting: there's a whole bunch of afterlives, depending on which power has claim to your soul. Dying gets you there, but PCs could get to them on foot if they really wanted to (not generally recommended).

Yup, still there- the American Chestnut Foundation has a farm where they grow chestnut trees free from disease (the trees were mostly wiped out in the 19th C). Turns out, they were unknowingly keeping some weevils as well 😁

Secunduli is an interdicted planet on the edge of the Marches. Archeologists try to visit, but the living metal constructs of whatever people used to live there are still very dangerous. It is thought they destroyed their makers... if they're native at all.

I still have a little bottle of dust from that eruption. I collected it in New England 😬

Good stuff! I particularly liked the incorporation of spell components- much better than waving your hands around like a Marvel movie 😂

My favorite flowers are the ones that grow in sidewalk cracks. I think it's difficult to really love nature and not want to see it score some wins now and then.

Stunning photo- great lighting there. The detail is so fine the feathers look knitted 😂

I think they're underrated because they're so common. Absolutely beautiful birds, as this excellent portrait shows ☺️

Oh wow, that's a great shot! 😊

The weevils are always there when we need them ☺️
