The Taser 10 uses a powder charge to drive the electrodes instead of compressed CO2, and under current law that means *legally* it's a firearm. The bill would just change it so that style of stun gun isn't legally a gun anymore, and Brady is pretending somehow that allows ghost guns to be sold?

The parts you'd need to convert a taser or a pellet gun into a firearm mostly aren't the parts you can 3D print! And the part of a taser or pellet gun you *could* theoretically use to make a gun is the pistol-shaped plastic shell, which is not the limiting factor if you're 3D printing parts anyway.

The definition proposed *expressly prohibits* this exact scenario. If it is readily convertible to a real gun like this, it wouldn't be exempt from being regulated as a firearm. Frankly it would be harder to convert a Taser to an actual firearm than it would be to make a gun from scratch.

It certainly looks better from above (or really any angle where the asymmetry shows) than from the side but yeah I don't know that it really screams American to me? Then again I guess most liveries that would be unmistakably American would also look kinda cheesy.

I see some variation on this one constantly and it's maybe the one I hate the most. The gunfucker bumper stickers are also pretty dumb and aggressive and I say that as an "under no pretext" gunfucker, but there's putting a joke about deliberately running over families *on your truck* is worse to me.

Okay this is *actually* deceptive since the CAG19 is packaged with instructions for producing it complaint with CA law when it was published (I'm not clear on if the relevant law has changed since 2021)
