Lastly, an update on the 2025 EA.
The United Workers Union team has been busy preparing for the next hearing on Oct 13th. We’ll keep you posted as soon as there’s any news. The commission, in consultation with unions, have identified preliminary concerns that need sorting out. Rest assured we’re taking the time to get this right, we’ve seen what happened with the 2020 EA, and we’re not letting Grill’d workers be worse-off.

🧑‍⚖️ When will this be over? Next hearing: Oct 13. That’s where we’ll argue why the EA is flawed. After that, the full bench of the FWC decides whether to approve it. Expect another few more weeks before the outcome.
