Continuing to practice segments and cut time off my Ys I Complete run. Happy to have so readily cleared 50 minutes already. Need to still work on my Y&O/Dark Fact double whammy boss fight.

Got my splits looking all pretty, and my Ys I time down 2.5 minutes despite some really awful boss fights. Also gotta continue honing my routing. Those alone will get me sub-50.

Felt a surprise surge of confidence and did my first full speedrun of Ys I (Chronicles) tonight. Really happy to start off sub-60, and excited to start chipping time off.

That's a wrap on Ys I, which was a phenomenal old school game. I think the bump combat is surprisingly Zen.

I picked up Ys 8 on a whim and then absolutely devoured it over the last two weeks. More thoughts soon, but kind of shocked that a game from 2016 just catapulted to my top-of-all-time list.

As the semester winds down I've been tackling a Zodiac weapon grind in Final Fantasy XIV, and hit a personal best on Aurum Vale. My speedrunning habits never fully leave, I guess

Latest Planet Camelot update: I made three templates for my Tudor-inspired market area, and have started filling things in and customizing each stall. There will also be a central picnic area that is placed on natural paths so people can eat their food in an open communal space.

Here I started the beginnings of my layout. Upon entering, there will be a sort of fairground area on the left, and a grid-based market on the right with lots of vaguely Tudor/medieval wattle-and-daub buildings.

The first big update is to the castle. I was learning how building actually works in Planet Coaster as I did this, but I think I made things sufficiently regal. The central tower is a modified pre-fab building that I'm really happy with, and there's some seating inside.

I've decided to finally dive into Planet Coaster (long overdue) and I'm already super engrossed in the creative mode. I'm going to start long-term work on a Camelot-themed park and update this in a thread!
