If you're loving Clair Obscur, check out these other European RPGs! Europe's been killing it the past few years with really bringing back the golden ages of JRPGs

I am VERY excited to announce the launch of YsLink (ys-link.net), a brand new Ys fan site.

Find information about games and characters, as well as interactive maps and timelines. If you're a huge #Falcom fan or a #JRPG enthusiast who's never dipped their toe in, now's a great time to be playing Ys!

This bodes... poorly. Scopely's Monopoly Go game is one of the most predatory mobile games out there.

Columbia grad student with a green card and a pregnant US citizen wife, abducted by ICE because of his political organizing, and now his lawyers can't find him.

Hey, @schumer.senate.gov. This is your constituent. Bring him back home.
UPDATE—Mahmoud's attorney says they do NOT know where he is.
They were first told he was sent to an ICE facility in Elizabeth, NJ. But when his 8-month-pregnant wife tried to visit him, she was told he's not there.
They've received reports he may be sent as far away as Louisiana.

Final Fantasy adventures combine in 1994! Now for your new AV Famicom (released the year prior): the chance to enjoy Final Fantasy I & II on one sleek cart. Its arrival heralded by this live-action commercial.

Bonus trivia: the AV Fami/HVC-101 would be in production until 2003.

Put some thoughts up on @backloggd.com for Ys: Memories of Celceta. A really competent Vita game that has stuck with me more than I thought it would.

This was a great overview, and it has absolutely started tipping me towards the "hype" side of things
i got to play clair obscur: expedition 33 last week, and it continues to live up to the hype 👏

THEY PUT A SEKIRO PARRY IN A NEXT-GEN JRPG LMAO

Vita has been my most played hand-held outside of Switch. I hadn’t touched mine in a while since I recently also got a 3DS, but playing Ys: Celceta on there (plus occasional bouts of Shovel Knight) has been a genuine treat
The #PSVita launched globally 13 years ago today!
I remember getting mine with Uncharted and Wipeout and downloading Escape Plan, Stardust, Plants V Zombies & MotorStorm RC. It’s still my favourite console. Over time, I collected all the launch games.
Who else got one at launch?

NY was ready for this, they’ve already filed in court to fight it.

The Admin didn’t even give a timeline for when they will revoke the approval.

Hochul said “We are a nation of laws, not ruled by a king. We’ll see you in court.”

Tolling is gonna continue until the courts decide.

Public comment is now open for passport gender marker changes.

You can go here to go to each of the three proposed passport rules, and submit comment.

My suggestion: be unique, argue for trans-inclusive policies, against the constitutionality of the changes, etc.

Please see my previous reskeet for why there are red flags with this project with its use of GenAI and a couple of other things, but yeah, old style text adventures are one things that have never gone away. And there are more graphical IF/visual novels than ever.

As I've learned more in my master's program about gamification being co-opted by gambling sectors, I'm more appreciative of videos like this that really lay out in incontrovertibly clear terms how predatory that whole ecosystem is. Worth a watch.
