My favorite movie that I watched for my film noir class this summer was Out of the Past, so when the route to the festival we played this weekend took us through Bridgeport we had to make a stop in honor of Jeff. (Thanks to my professor @blbalthaser.bsky.social!)

My 89 year old grandfather just told me “You know, you really should consider dressing nicer on stage. Wear some better shirts. You’re in show business for Christ’s sake. Last time you had a silly shirt on.” (I think he’s referring to the 4th pic.) Absolutely devastating burn from the old man.
