This was surprising. Asked 3 free AI models for top product announcements from Day 1 of Google Cloud Next.

Out of Gemini 2.5 Pro with search grounding, ChatGPT with search, and Microsoft Copilot, Copilot did the best, with an initial list of 5. The others listed 2024 announcements.

Since deterministic results aren't necessarily the goal with AI apps, you really need high-quality embedding models and RAG architecture, especially if you're merging those with your real-time transaction data. It's always a matter of data.

OpenAI is expecting revenue to triple this year to $12.7 billion.

If they're releasing tools like ChatGPT 4o image generation through the rest of the year, I could see why. It's still a huge jump.

Or is OpenAI saying this because of pressure to meet expectations of their sky-high valuation?

You can create cool things with Gemini 2.5 Pro coding capabilities but image generation has larger appeal targeting a larger audience.

Predicted the timing felt right for huge releases but didn't think it'd be this big.
