So sad to hear about Chris Rea. Many will be making Driving Home for Christmas or eggs in the bath comments, but he was a genuinely, incredibly talented songwriter who will be very sadly missed. RIP, Big Guy!

What has Yvette Cooper’s proscription of Palestine Action done to this country?
Beyond absurd. It’s extreme authoritarianism. These police should be arresting rapists & crooks, not neglecting those duties to spend time arresting citizens standing against genocide.

A reminder to always check the #Parkrun website before travelling. Yesterday we drove to a different parkrun only to find it was cancelled. Luckily, not that far away, but disappointing nonetheless.

Had such a great time at @truckfestival.bsky.social this year that we’ve already bought next years tickets with no clue about the lineup. Obviously hoping for Radiohead and Pink Floyd to headline, but worried it could be the Cheeky Girls and Musical Youth.

So I’ve been #cycling with some mates every weekend since Spring, usually 40 or 50 miles. Today we did a shorter route but pushed the pace a little. When we got back, Strava had this little surprise for me.
