If you ever find yourself fascinated by the wild world of slip casting, I've really enjoyed Shelby Sherritt, and Australian potter and ceramicist who is simply a delight to watch! I especially enjoy her Mystery Mold series and when she shows her original designs (the wombat pots are too cute).

The ripple mug has such an aesthetic shape, and I really really like the swooping shapes on the other one!

Lol I was so jazzed about the pot of gold that I missed the cute lil hat that came with it!

I *loved* doing pottery and ceramics work in middle school. It always makes me smile to see my awkward preteen works in random places. If I had the ability to work on it again, I'd do it in a heartbeat. I hope you're having a great time with it!

Also, she's been squinting a lot today, which I initially thought was because she was having eye pain from her blood pressure (it was about 200 apparently when they took it at the vets' office), but again, she's sought out the darkest available room. Could just be she wanted her fluffy bed, though.

As for my sudden questioning of her blindness, I know the chances of her having her vision come back after bleeding behind her eyes & detached retina is slim to none, but she's chosen to go sleep in the only area of the house with no lights, despite several attempts to give her tents/blanket forts.

You would not expect a probably 14lb cat to move so constantly, but that not-so-lil 3D gray-and-white Dorito does indeed move like the wind.

I was once dared to eat bread and butter pickle slices with cool whip. Also, I never would have thought that a dark chocolate balsamic vinegar would rock as hard as it does on strawberries.
