"Minteh clearly has a severe injury to the head, I'm not comfortable with him continuing to play, you'll have to substitute him"
Best way to remove all forms of play acting

It's part of the reason that the current ruleset needs a full root and branch review rather than the constant edits it currently has
Hopefully I'll have something to share in that regard around the season end, or maybe the year end

Two problems, first it makes the game different at different levels, genie out of bottle there with VAR affecting the way games are played and officiated; secondly long added minutes mess up TV & advert scheduling

It was made public a while ago much time was added for certain incidents. We've all seen players/pundits claim the added time board is gospel and must be a minimum
Much prefer us to just trust refs, not create more things to beat them with

But we all know a full team scrap that ends in two yellows, is still a longer stoppage than a tackle so late/high the offender is walking before you've even blown your whistle

I miss the days when my linesman would run his watch when ball was dead, then around 42 minutes would show me 1-5 fingers on their thigh when signalling for something else

We already almost have that, with the delay before instead can return to the pitch
Players will still roll around, but physios well be very slow to react
Let referees apply nuance, common sense, and occasionally a little shithousery

As a referee, player safety is one of the top concerns. I'm afraid that if I see a player rolling around clearly in pain and likely seriously injured, then it's irresponsible for me let them continue
Forced substitution
