It is supposed to be a cheap, filling meal. A peppered mince filling with a pie made of two pastries. Quality can vary greatly, but Cook's in Hoxton was a personal favourite. Still creates a Proustian moment when I do have one. Memories of sawdust, steam, benches and marble tables.

There is an addendum to this. She had assumed incorrectly that I had done this off my own back, and I didn't correct her because at the time dad had cancer, and I wanted to protect him from this bullsh*t. She did find out later. No apology.

My nephew's wedding photos on our family side included friends of my sister in law. My dad wondered if it was possible to Photoshop them out, which I did. The bollocking I got from my sister in law at the seminary when she was becoming a vicar was something to behold.

As a developer, I was sent on a project management course. I never had to manage a project, but it gave me the language to manage project manager, which was always the most challenging part. Of a project.

Had a large yellow bag of wooden fence removed today. The driver/crane operator had some very strong views around how good Nigel Farage was. Possibly when working it may be best to keep those opinions to oneself.
