Just experienced the heartbreaking and uplifting plat #GuacLA this afternoon. We must not lose sight that we have lost sons and daughters to senseless gun violence in our schools. Manuel and Patrica Oliver lost their son in Parkland FL in 2018. We need action NOT thoughts and prayers

Yesterday, our atty left the DTLA federal building “B18” & what she witnessed was disturbing.
Her client has been trapped in a basement room w/ 50 others since Tuesday.
❌ No beds
❌ No showers
❌ Same clothes
❌ Sporadic meals
❌ No medical care after a violent arrest

All I think about when I hear people say that it’s bad taste to dance on Hulk Hogan’s grave is that Emmett Till’s monument had to be replaced with a 500lb steel bulletproof monument because white people simply won’t stop riddling it with bullets. So now it just has tons of dents. From bullets.
