Goldeneye and Perfect Dark DID give me unrealistic expectations for games after them, though.
Like, if a guy took 7 headshots to kill, or a boss took 80 rifle bullets to the face and just shrugged it off?

I mean, it basically pioneered context-sensitive damage and accurate shooting in a full 3D FPS.
A headshot was instant kill every time. Necks, arms, legs, feet, even butts and groins were able to be damaged individually with appropriate reactions.
For 1997? That alone was MIND BLOWING.
