I've not seen it but doesn't look great I used to like F1 the sport until they changed the rules / cars etc and it went from races to processions where the best / richest manufacturers always win. Once annoyed a fan saying it's like horse racing were it's 90% the horse and only 10% the jockey.

I suspect F1 the film will do well in the technical sound / editing etc Oscar noms/wins but not the acting / writing / director ones

Wasn't the 'house get's vandalized' final episode of The Good Life so badly received that they did an extra Christmas special to try and make up for it? Although as I only remembered that after being reminded of it the other day I guess the stink has gone from tht.

People had committed to that show and were deeply scared by an ending so bad. The main ideas of the ending and the episodes leading up to it were okay (Probably what GRRM told the show runners.) But the execution and the detail were so bad. Stranger Things got the detail and the ideas wrong!

Always remember the bit where he gets back to England and the first person he meets is an utter misery and the trains are rubbish.
