It's already been done.

A few years back so only P2 + GT3.

People hated it so much/didn't give it a chance that it bypassed the 2 season rule at the time and was removed from the following season.

I'd kill just for AI to be able to recreate the GrandAm roval races iwth modern cars

If NASCAR made the unexpected move of changing the point system back to the Latford system in addition to a full season championship, nobody would benefit from it more than Elliott. Average finish usually determined the champion at the end of the season, as long as said champion started every race.

Another car that I love to mess around with in test drive but have 0 chance of ever getting to race. Same with the C7 (although at least I got to "race" that a few week 13s back at Spa).

The RUF for Ringmeister 2 seasons back was also fucking great

more funny is coming back onto the oval onto the banking because it's just so fucking awful. More effective at enforcing track limits than any grass or gravel or sand ever will be.
