The Palou case does not surprise me. He had a valid contract with McLaren and decided to ignore it. I presume CGR will ultimately cover the bill and that was agreed to when Palou decided to sign a new contract with them.

This is also assuming they just go in a circle around the Mall and don’t have anything else.
The only really big DC landmark they wouldn’t be driving by is the White House, which is not far away but I imagine the security would be a big mess if they looped that in.

My concern is that this is going to be a massive, massive racetrack. I did some research on Google Maps and while it does race past basically everything there is to see in DC, it also come out to about 6 miles.

The people complaining about NIL and the transfer portal ruining football are usually the people who allowed it to happen. College football had decades with an obvious issue that nobody wanted to address. Then a judge addressed it for them.

Aikman, since leaving Fox and finding new life at ESPN, has become maybe my favorite color commentator in football almost by default. I don’t think Romo or Brady or Collinsworth would say this. Olsen might, though.

The most insane aspect of this Bears playoff run is that it is happening as Matt Nagy is actually getting interviews! The Bears didn’t have some big FA signing or any crazy roster change, they just got a HC who isn’t a dipshit

Due to incompetence, it looks like Clash practice and qualifying won’t be on any form of TV or streaming. Fox retained the rights for those for the Clash over Amazon and have apparently chosen to simply not broadcast it. Only the Heats will be.
