Yeah, if Stahl's reporting was *really* defamatory, you could sue her and the network. But, you won't because depositions and discovery would prove her 100% right!

Follow up: it doesn’t say it’s illegal to fire on incapacitated shipwrecked. It just says it’s illegal to fire on the shipwrecked. Where’d you get “incapacitated” and why are you such an asshole?
Q: "The Pentagon's Law of War manual…says 'Orders to fire upon the shipwrecked would be clearly illegal.' Given that, how was that follow up strike on the two survivors legal?"

Tom Cotton: "They were not incapacitated… They were sitting or standing on top of a capsized boat."

Pope Leo XIV just went viral belting out “L.O.V.E” with Michael Bublé at the Vatican’s Concert with the Poor, a Christmas event where the front rows are filled with homeless and low-income guests.

Michael Bublé called it “the greatest night” of his career.

CUELLAR: Look, I'm a Democrat

BARTIROMO: Okay, but Trump is out with a new Truth Social saying saying, "next time, no more Mr Nice Guy"

2) she’s smart & nice
3) a legitimate question about construction of a controversial project on WH grounds
4) Thanks for explanation
5) but actually she asked you about Venezuela
6) generally speaking if someone or something is irrelevant, the President doesn’t talk about them

EXCLUSIVE: Pete Hegseth ordered the U.S. military on Sept. 2 to kill all 11 people on a suspected drug-smuggling boat because they were on an internal list of military targets, the commander overseeing the operation told lawmakers, according to multiple sources.
Admiral told lawmakers everyone on alleged drug boat was on a list of military targets
Adm. Frank Bradley said U.S. intelligence had identified the 11 people on the boat and determined the military was authorized to kill them as part of Trump’s campaign against alleged drug-smuggling vessels.

Trump said last year that he would focus on deporting immigrants who were violent criminals. But a study of arrests in major operations in DC, LA, Illinois and Massachusetts shows that the vast majority of those swept up by ICE have no criminal record.

In other words, Trump admits he was trying to use his pardon power to buy Republicans a House seat.

Even the legal justification for drone strikes on senior members of al Qaeda and associated forces (ostensibly covered under the 2001 AUMF) states that strikes are justified only “when capture is infeasible”
This is contemptible. Not only do we now have confirmation Hegseth has been lying from the jump, but it seems neither he nor his team understand that killing everyone on a target list *becomes* an illegal No Quarter Order if targets try to surrender or are neutralized. Their semantic games are vile.

WELKER: Lawmakers say the 2 men appeared to raise their arms potentially to surrender. Why did Admiral Bradley interpret these actions as anything other than them trying to survive?

Did you ask him if his job was under threat if he failed to follow an illegal order? Did you ask him if he knows killing the shipwrecked is an illegal order? Did you ask him if he was promised clemency if he took the fall? What did he say? TELL US. Stop dancing around these questions.
BRENNAN: Do you have confidence in Admiral Bradley?

HIMES: What it raises is what happens when an apparently good man like Admiral Bradley is placed in a context where he knows that if he countermands an order he's uncomfortable with it's very likely he'll be fired
