worth noting: many immigrant-owned restaurants are closed entirely right now out of fear of their safety, and others are staying quiet for obvious reasons. @allisonanne.com is raising funds for one group of out of work latino restaurant workers. please link me to any other campaigns like this!

…have to point out, though, yet another case where a great piece of writing is given (by editors, I assume) a bizarre and unrepresentative headline. Of course fear is present here, but the whole point of the piece is courage in the face of that fear!

There is such a lack of political education around what "action" means and what agency/power we have, something super straightforward like this can open doors.
