As mentioned in the article you didn't read, but started asking questions about any way, she's tried to have the case thrown out on the ground that she no longer runs track (or is in college), but they have not been granted because the anti-trans groups want THIS case to get to SCOTUS, not others

You don't need to understand "Trans rights in America", you need to understand how a case gets to the supreme court. She sued to try and run track in college in 2020, that case got glomed on to by anti-trans advocates who see it as a path to get arguments in front of SCOTUS

Weapons trainer, but that just means you teach people how to shoot other people. There are probably reasonable weapons training programs out there, but the most popular promote "the warrior mentality" which is just "shoot first, ask questions later" by a different name.

there is plenty of caselaw invoking 230 which would say otherwise, but, again, you're arguing with someone who agrees with you (230 is good) over a hypothetical that is neither provable nor falsifiable
January 9, 2026 at 4:18 PM
ok. i will modify my next 230 related shitpost to clarify that it would be funny if republicans about-faced on 230 to protect the child porn machine from CIVIL liabilities.

thank you for your service it was very important

the little man with the toe beans becomes a bean fiend even though he never likes them. still, that moment between him recognizing the sound of a can opening and the horrid realization that its just 'more garbanzos' must be nirvana for him

when you trace the history of the "corporation" back to guilds, which operated with a monarch or pope as the de facto "CEO", this all makes a lil more sense
January 9, 2026 at 3:55 PM
I mean, 45 states have laws banning the production of digital CSAM, but I don’t understand the nuances of those laws, so I guess I shouldn’t assume Xai/grok is in violation of those.
January 9, 2026 at 4:53 AM
I am not in favor of this, btw. 230 is good legislation with reasonable rights for all sides.
January 9, 2026 at 1:44 AM
Yes, but in the case of a user inputting an existing photo into an LLM, it would be easier to bring a case without 230 muddying the waters about what X’s responsibility is, as opposed to Xai or whatever the other company is called
