Congratulations to all who fought for it and the present and future artists of all sorts in Ireland. That includes me 👌We’re just comin to the end of a 3 year pilot scheme. It’s been a roaring success. For every €1 paid out to the 2000 participants, the government got €1.46 back. Can’t argue with that. Other countries are already taking note."

In 4 days, I've been to 2 concerts (David Byrne and Bertha: Grateful Drag), a regatta, and a film talk. I think I look like this. For the first time ever in 20 yrs of parenting, I slept through an alarm. The kids looked at me like I had 4 heads when I told them, "YOU HAVE 30 MINUTES TO GET READY."

Love all of that! Any book recommendations? It’s all done through folding and blocks with clamps to create the resist. So, this one had two round wooden circles on either side of the folded linen. Then, it is dipped in…wait for it…INDIGO! 😂 And a lot of rinsing!

I know this isn't the news right now. But I have some updated info on Covid vax availability.

Several states where CVS/Walgreens weren't offering them or required Rx 1.5 wks ago now have them without Rx because of state officials' actions.

But still 13 states where CVS and/or Walgreens require Rx.

But we can’t let ourselves or our values be defined by what others do or say. Our values are what *we* say *we* are. And I oppose all political violence. Not violence that’s legal (self-defense, defense-of-another) or all military violence, but all political violence. Like today.

Heading to the ocean on Friday to work remotely by the salt marsh for the day. It's one of the places where I can pull my brain and heart back together. Do what you need to do to stay healthy, friends. Give yourself the ok to seek goodness and joy in the worst moments.

Deeply disturbing rhetoric is spreading from influential MAGA figures (including the President of the United States and the owner of that other website). Realized I hadn't cleaned up my LinkedIn profile thanks to updates. I don't know how I missed this particular person who was absolutely the worst boss I ever had and who also walked in to a women's group meeting where she announced, "I'm not a feminist" with glee. But that's fixed now. 😂 😘
