After many restarts, I have a viable knitting project going!
Simple. Pretty color yarn.
I have learned that I need to store my attached needles in a way that keeps them relaxed instead of the curliques of my project pair.
Muscle memory is resurfacing.
Perhaps a pair of socks for the next one?

After having some sort of emotional panic, Yoyo the half wild rescue husky can be soothed by paws up on my chair with a chest massage.

Yoyo the half wild rescue husky and Rogue the SD in training cannot yet share space.
Yoyo is not safe for Rogue. There are jealousy issues.
I perform some exercises to help them be more comfortable near each other.

We got out on the desert for a long-leash walk this morning. Rogue trots to and fro as I walk a steady pace.
Some of our usual paths were washed out.
We both had so much fun. I am so grateful I had the energy to go.
I will have to nap before taking a much needed shower.

We got out on the desert for a long-leash walk this morning. Rogue trots to and fro as I walk a steady pace.

Before I had the oversized recliner, I would lie on the couch and she would find a place to settle where we were touching.
I chose oversized so we could still cuddle.
She really likes that spot and sighs happily when I recline all the way back.

It was the right decision to frog my hat/scarf project and begin something I can knit without referring to a pattern.
This will be an extra wide scarf that I can drape over my head.
