We already have a film studio in Marlow - just north of us, in Booker. It went into administration and is being repurposed as a data centre due to lack of use.
If this land were being used for housing I would be pro development, but the landowner filled it full of toxic waste so…

Of course, Labour drive for growth - their get-out-of- jail card - led to approval for the industrial film studio development of Green Belt land by Marlow. London is becoming a cycling city.

As we continue to expand London’s cycle network, the number of daily bike trips is soaring. Cycling has risen by more than 40% since 2019 to 1,500,000 trips every day.

This is what many of us have been saying. Part 3 of the Planning & Infrastructure Bill is based on a myth: that we don't have enough homes because wildlife and green spaces are protected. It will solve nothing, and inflict terrible harm on our remaining ecosystems

A woman is killed by a man every 3 days in the UK...

78% are murdered by a partner/ex

Yet not once have I heard Reform talk about this

Not once have I heard them back measures to protect women’s safety

In fact, they voted against them...

This - in spades.
Nationalism is a shibboleth. The challenges we face are daunting. But we are not going to overcome them by hunkering down behind of imaginary lines scrawled on a map by medieval warlords. Our problems are transnational, and the solutions are too.

The Caerphilly result is what we need to see everywhere at the next election: people coordinating to vote tactically for parties which seek a fairer, kinder, greener country.
Pushing out both those who have betrayed our trust AND those who seek to exploit that betrayal.

Since I’ve been Mayor there’s been a seven-fold increase in employers paying the London Living Wage and an almost 60% increase in the London Living Wage.

It’s great to see more than 4,300 London businesses supporting their workers by paying them a decent living wage.
Real living wage to rise by almost 7% in boost for low-paid UK workers
Hourly rate to increase by 95p to £14.80 in London and by 85p to £13.45 for the rest of the country

Some politicians and commentators continue to denigrate London and talk our great city down, but the facts show a very different picture.

The number of homicides in London in the first nine months of 2025 was lower than in any year since monthly records began 22 years ago.
