It shouldn’t have to be said, but I am, in fact, a member of Antifa. I’d be a card-carrying member, but my Soros check doesn’t cover that AND the Portland-branded inflatable frog costume, so…I guess, you’ll just have to take my word for it.

Stand up for the rights of trans folks because everyone should have human rights and freedom to live their lives, it's really not complicated.

What’s the word where you’re from that, when pronounced exactly as it looks, identifies a tourist immediately?

In Trump's America, you're an order of magnitude more likely to get attacked on the street by ICE and the National Guard than by any foreign gang member.

ANÄD, an occasional table. Like the kind Llewellyn had: it’s occasionally there. Usually it’s not there. Where is it then? It can’t tell you, it’s a table.

Yo Gabba Gabba was one of the few shows that didn’t make me lose my mind when the kids were little. My wife and I still sing the ‘party in my tummy’ song when we’re eating as a family. It’s a catchy groove.

<begin rant>

I love the self-checkout at the grocery (and elsewhere), but like drive-thru and ATM lanes, they should really be reserved for the percent of the populace who are not too much of a fucking imbecile to work them in an efficient manner.

<end rant…for now>

Nice shot. Saw several of these on my vacation in Hilton Head last week. I love their whistling call.

Somebody tell me why Amy McGrath thinks it’s a good idea for her to run for Senate. Again.

Does she just have money to burn? Poor advisers? No real job? If we loan her a fighter jet, will she just fly away? Please?!

This. I’m planning to be there! I mean, I did 100 and 200, so might as well continue the trend. If you want to join me, the run/jog/walk starts at 9, down near the creek on the Trevilian side.

Supposed to be cool and sunny. Don’t miss one of the three days of fall we’re supposed to have this year.

In a little less than a month (Oct 11) we'll be hosting our 300th free weekly 5K! We've been providing Louisville a free, regular, hassle-free way to get together and get a little exercise since April 2018. We'd love to have a huge crowd that morning so tell all friends and make plans to join us!

Also, with Republic of Tea, I think you’re paying for packaging. And I don’t know where you stand on caf/decaf, but rooibos has been a fave of ours for 20+ years and is great with a bit of milk.

I know you’re not trying to spend a fortune, and Tazo and Bigelow (official tea of the Boston Red Sox!) are good, but my wife has been buying Vahdam over the past couple years and they are really good. I hesitate to look at the price…I’d rather not know.

Weird thing where people say “no one could have predicted it” when really what they mean is their political commitments and orientation were such that they ignored everyone who was predicting it

Sorry but “no one could have“ and you having your head stuck up your ass are two different situations
