1. Vaccine skeptics have become prominent and are now even government-approved.
2. Measles cases are up 14,608%.

What a weird coincidence.

“WASHINGTON (AP) — Trump says US has seized an oil tanker off the coast of Venezuela amid mounting tensions with the Maduro government.”

Are Americans dying from oil overdoses?

It’s not about the drugs.

I always get confused when sports seasons overlap. I saw a score on my phone: Illinois 88 - 80 Ohio State.

I really wanted to watch that football game.

Awkward timing for Trump. Difficult to engage in an illegal war nobody wants to steal oil based on drug war lies, while pardoning a drug kingpin, while your SecDef is investigated for war crimes, and when you have to find someone else willing to commit war crimes as new SecDef.

Before the midterms of 1866, President Andrew Johnson called his congressional opponents traitors and said they should be hanged.

Voters were so profoundly moved by his words... that they gave his opponents a supermajority in Congress, and the nation got the Fourteenth Amendment.

With Trump and his subservient DOJ/FBI, I have little faith that we'll ever see complete transparency on the Epstein files — so unfortunate, and a travesty of justice for the victims.

However, I do have some comfort that the cloud of cover-up will hang above Trump's head for the rest of his life.

I've been enjoying following the James Comey "prosecution" by insurance lawyer Lindsey Halligan, who was brought in to carry out Trump's demands when no honest prosecutor would.

It is a race to see which of the maybe 10 or 12 legitimate reasons for dismissal will be first.
