It took seeing adult bullies to understand that my childhood bullies didn’t even really want to hurt me, they just wanted to feel powerful and how I felt about it wasn’t even in the equation.
I can’t imagine someone not outgrowing that, but apparently it happens quite a lot!

Moving away from my subconscious need for validation - especially from attractive women - is HARD.
I've spent literal decades doing all these little things, reinforcing these patterns, and now I have to unlearn them.

I wonder what the world would be like right now if Elon had access to a supportive men's group in his 30s.
On one side I'm certain he wouldn't have that screeching need for approval, on the other side he might not have the intense drive for success, and someone else would be wielding the chainsaw.
