i still don't understand why people that use the plagiarism machine comment on threads like this to explain why they use it. it's almost always an attempt to minimize it, too.

What sucks is there are a few friends and other people that I have already done this with! Like why do you see me constantly going on these rants about how much it sucks + is harmful just to show up and go "but I got it to do something neat!"

I cannot overstate this enough. I do not care about whatever cool thing you managed to prompt out of your LLM. If you show up and go "I asked [LLM] to [complicated] and it almost worked!" I will immediately put you into the bucket of people I no longer enjoy talking to.
