When you deliver the book to Fig, he’s intrigued but also frustrated — several pages have been torn out and he needs time to study what remains, meaning there’s much more to uncover about the secret it holds. You also share with him what you witnessed in the Pensieve, allowing Fig to begin connecting the memories with the clues in the book itself, which revolves around ancient magic and a forgotten history of magic users with powers like yours.

In the aftermath, Professor Fig continues his investigation into ancient magic while the regular rhythm of Hogwarts life resumes — you attend new classes like Herbology and Potions, all the while a sense grows that something far larger is at play. Fig becomes increasingly convinced that the book and the Pensieve memories point toward an even deeper secret buried beneath Hogwarts: a hidden chamber called the Map Chamber, which only someone with your unique ability to see traces of ancient magic can enter. Together, you begin to explore this chamber and encounter the enigmatic Keepers — the portraits of four long-deceased Hogwarts professors who have sworn to guard the mysteries of ancient magic from the wider wizarding world.

As you follow the Keepers’ guidance, you must complete a series of challenging trials that test your growing power and understanding of ancient magic. This rupture unleashes colossal tidal waves that slam into the Island, flooding entire biomes and permanently submerging familiar locations.
When players drop in for the first time, the Island is partially drowned. Coastal cities lie in ruins, coral reefs pierce through former streets, and vast stretches of open water now separate scattered landmasses. The storm itself has changed, forming cyclonic walls over the sea rather than shrinking uniformly. The Island is no longer stable—it is sinking.

The Rise of the Leviathans

As the waters rise, something ancient awakens. Long buried beneath the ocean floor are the Leviathans, massive sentient sea titans created during the Island’s earliest formation. These beings were designed to regulate the planet’s energy flow long before the Zero Point existed, but centuries of Loop interference forced them into hibernation.
Now, drawn to the seismic break, the Leviathans begin surfacing across the map. Some are hostile, others neutral, but all reshape the environment as they move—creating whirlpools, crushing POIs, and altering storm paths. Their presence reveals a shocking truth: the Island was never meant to survive endless resets.

Midway through the chapter, divers and submarines allow players to explore submerged temples and drowned vaults. These ruins confirm that the Island has gone through multiple natural cycles long before the Loop existed—and each cycle ended with a controlled “reset” led by the Leviathans themselves.
