The importance of parks & gardens, stories of urban pond-dipping & an appearance from a well-timed dusk bat. Great to be at the launch of the #Gardenstrust report at Octavia Hill’s Red Cross Garden in Borough this evening. Amazing to see the urban garden against the backdrop of London’s night sky.

Great things about working in the Heritage sector (pt2) - seeing the Crown Jewels on a Tuesday evening! Privileged to celebrate the 187th Constable’s reception at the Tower of London, and the historic royal palace looking wonderful in the evening sun…

The Government’s Creative Industries Sector Plan has been published 📓

While we’d have liked greater recognition of #Heritage, it’s good to see the Govt acknowledge its facilitating role & value of Cultural + Heritage Capital.

excellent opening morning at HRBA’s Big Update with Chair, Carole Souter commencing proceedings with her thoughts on ‘What does Heritage mean today’ on shifting (or not!) social attitudes to heritage over the last 25 years - not much has changed, people really value heritage when asked.
