The importance of parks & gardens, stories of urban pond-dipping & an appearance from a well-timed dusk bat. Great to be at the launch of the #Gardenstrust report at Octavia Hill’s Red Cross Garden in Borough this evening. Amazing to see the urban garden against the backdrop of London’s night sky.

Lovely sunny day at Fawley Museum - a wonderful pleasure to be there for the National Transport Trust awards! May even have had a train ride too!

Beating the heat with a cool evening in the beautiful surroundings of St Katherine Cree in the city, hosted by #HistoricEngland, to launch their excellent ‘Faith Buildings In The City of London’ book, written by Billy Hurley Reading & published by @livunipress.bsky.social 10/10 would recommend.

Great things about working in the Heritage sector (pt2) - seeing the Crown Jewels on a Tuesday evening! Privileged to celebrate the 187th Constable’s reception at the Tower of London, and the historic royal palace looking wonderful in the evening sun…

Great things about working in the heritage sector (part 1) - attending the very excellent City & Guilds degree show last night. Wonderful work on show from graduates across a range of disciplines.

excellent opening morning at HRBA’s Big Update with Chair, Carole Souter commencing proceedings with her thoughts on ‘What does Heritage mean today’ on shifting (or not!) social attitudes to heritage over the last 25 years - not much has changed, people really value heritage when asked.
