One thing we can do is email or call our local representatives about it. Tell them why this law is bad, like how it's an invasion of privacy & against freedom of expression etc, and who this will damage (Women, LGBT, EVERYONE), & that they should stand against it.

I'm under the impression they don't care about the children, they're just saying that because it tricks people into giving them more control over our lives and information, makes people willing to want Big Brother. It's sad and frustrating, when giving up your liberty makes you less safe, ironically

The governor just announced she's going to start filing legislation for age verification for social media in Massachusetts. I'm getting so tired of all this.

Unfortunately yeah, he emailed me saying that. I had emailed him back explaining how disastrous that would be, with citations and everything, and he's yet to reply back.

Update: I emailed him about it and he does support all these bad internet bills and he says he won't change his mind and that they NEED to pass 💀

I read somewhere that Markey supports COPPA, so it greatly concerns me what he thinks about this bill and the whole bunch of others.
