Great description of the many hurdles in the beginning stages of one's reading journey. Reading can be a lifelong endeavour which continues through all decades of life. There is always a new level or language to master.

Reading silence is an undeveloped skill with huge payoff. Does silence mean agreement, indifference, love, reflection or something else?

The rationale for that two-star or three-star rating can be irrelevant for a reader, or actually a motivation to want to read a book or watch a movie.

Reviews are partial in every sense of the word. Is it about the quality of writing, the depth of research, the alignment to our values, entertainment value or a myriad of other things? Most useful are those moderately rated, in-depth reviews because they cover multiple angles.

Changing one's mind is a sign of development 👌.

Social media apps seem to become similar, yet it is amazes me how small tweaks create very different environments.
