Continuing with the job hunting rant… I don’t know what’s deemed as “actively applying”. But 5 years later and over 60 applications submitted. I got only 1 interview. And still got rejected after it. Depressing stuff.

Funny thing is, I want a new job for a fresh new perspective because I’m losing the perspective i’ve been holding on to for these past few years. Yet I know I’ll lose it again regardless of the career path I choose.

The hustling nature this era is dominating for sure, it’s success however requires patience, determination and instances of failure to correct your course. I don’t mind it. I just lack the most important factor. Patience.

Thing is, you think that you’re capable, skillful and valuable enough to be successful in any job you apply to. I guess that’s the naive assumption.
