I think it just can’t be applied with consistency without seriously problematic increases in surveillance. It costs way less to put concrete barriers narrowing a road or speed bumps than overtime to a speed trap officer. If the potential damage to a car is meaningful enough, people will slow down.

Law enforcement BARELY works for this sort of thing. Police can’t be everywhere (and wouldn’t want them to) and tickets aren’t paid by people who can’t pay them and not expensive enough for people with money. Road design is the only real solution. Speed bumps, narrow roads, barriers narrowing turns.

Same. Though I don’t always write down who recommended what and have a or fun puzzle for myself figuring out who recommended it.

I understand this isn’t an option for everyone, but my OB has shared that breast milk from a vaccinated mom can offer some immunity. I know herd immunity ending isn’t an individual issue so can’t be fixed with individual solution, but hoping this offers a little comfort in these scary times 💜
