Perhaps if you’re a state employee.

They’re simply buying time until they can take Greenland by force. Hope the Europeans understand what’s going to happen unless they act to dissuade a military takeover.

Wrong hotel chain but wonder if they will follow.

I wasn’t mad at you but tried to make the case that 99% of users don’t experience what you experience. However, I’ve since come around on the need for aggressive moderation not for my sake or yours but for those who would be put off from joining here by the drumbeat of complaints from the loudest.

2018 was a wave election. 2022 was not.
January 5, 2026 at 8:05 PM
The problem is that he sounds weak. We all know that action depends on Senate Republicans and we also know that they aren’t going to and do not want to stop Trump. So drop the bs and just attack them.
January 5, 2026 at 5:37 PM
Who are you arguing with and for what purpose?
January 5, 2026 at 2:01 AM
True but I was referring to the other guy you responded to who did the same thing to me.
January 4, 2026 at 1:57 PM
Yes, that’s the game this clown plays. He finds people he disagrees with online and then “calls” them out as trolls. Pure projection given what his timeline looks like.
January 4, 2026 at 3:45 AM
I think we can disagree on that. I think he was terrible and evil and also that John McCain would have governed similarly.
January 2, 2026 at 3:06 PM
Bush was not uniquely evil and terrible though. You could name a hundred Republicans who would have made the same decisions he did as President. That wasn’t the case with Trump although I think it will be going forwards.
January 2, 2026 at 2:59 PM
No, you’re the one who decided to abuse strangers online because you disagree with their politics and their opinions.
January 2, 2026 at 1:33 AM
You like to talk at length without saying anything relevant or useful. All you have is insults because you are everything you like to criticize, a divider who wants Democrats to lose as long as you feel right.
January 2, 2026 at 1:32 AM
You don’t actually believe any of this since we know of many Democrats who have met for photo ops with Trump, including Biden, Jeffries, and Schumer. You are, however, so committed to trolling strangers online that you are willing to utter nonsense. ny1.com/nyc/all-boro...
Jeffries thought Trump-Mamdani meeting was ‘a great success’
"Donald Trump clearly recognizes that Mayor Mamdani is committed to trying to turn things around from an affordability standpoint,” Jeffries said.

“since his reelection” as if this wasn’t the case beforehand as well.
January 1, 2026 at 9:11 PM
Of course it won. Russia tried to conquer all of Ukraine and Ukraine managed to resist being conquered. That Russia has barely moved the lines it had retreated to since the invasion began is a victory.
December 31, 2025 at 1:59 AM
Huh, that sounds incredibly corrupt.
December 31, 2025 at 1:36 AM
Maybe we should consider not allowing the wealthy to borrow against unrealized gains to then make huge profits that could potentially be shielded from taxation. We do not have to enable tax avoidance strategies.
December 30, 2025 at 3:15 PM
Do you enjoy being abusive online to total strangers?
December 30, 2025 at 5:37 AM
I don’t think you actually believe this was the reason Harris lost the election.
December 29, 2025 at 10:03 PM
The problem with your crowd is that you have no idea how to make your base larger to win elections other than shaming and lecturing people who don’t really like your brand of politics. Are you really going to win over a small number of far left tankies? It’s absurd.
December 29, 2025 at 7:48 PM
I think this is a view you are not naive enough to hold. Politics is and always has been about propaganda. We simply lost that war over the last decade and that led to 2024. That covers Covid, the economy, and Gaza, etc but you prefer to scapegoat a small number of voters as THE reason for losing.
December 29, 2025 at 7:43 PM
Learn to make an argument first before resorting to insults for no good reason.
December 29, 2025 at 7:37 PM
We can’t wish for the electorate and reality we’d like and instead must deal with it as it is. 2024 was it was a failure on all levels of what’s the considered the broad “left”. Actually a decade of failure rooted in the capture of social media and the establishment media by right wing interests.

What else does the NYT agree should be overhauled?
