I also really enjoyed the sign on the building next to the gate, which has by some distance outlasted both the council and, seemingly, the car park that it refers to.

Been staying in Glasgow for a few days, and really enjoyed this view from our bedroom window. Love a good chimney.
A picture of a back alley, taken from a high window. In the foreground a loading bay / car entrance is flanked by tall modern(ish) buildings on either side. The street crosses horizontally behind them, and behind that to the left is a much older (sandstone?) building with a slate tiled roof, and steps up to a side entrance. There is a path alongside the building with red handrails, separated from the road by a black gate, and with a bollard at the other end. Next to that is a tall red brick chimney, nestled closely among the buildings. Beyond seems to be a car park, though there are a couple of skips, and fences and work equipment. In the background are a number of other buildings, both old and new, from 2 to many storeys tall.

I did eventually finish this!

It didn't actually take this long, but my phone camera decided it couldn't *possibly* keep working without me granting it Bluetooth access (!), so that was a faff.

An amigurumi Cthulhu: a small green crocheted plush with green bat-like wings. It has a profusion of tentacles coming from where its mouth should be, in several shades of green, and they completely obscure the figure's body.

I've started learning to crochet, and so far finding it a lot easier and more flexible than knitting. Though I quickly got bored of the patterns I had and have started going off piste... not quite sure where I'm going from here yet. #crochet #cthulhu
A little unfinished crochet project: a green dome with two elongated blue patches (eyes) on the front. Two long green tentacles hang down from between the eyes.
