Or like intense chalk drawings on sidewalks that are beginning to melt and mix in the rain! I don't even know how to describe these colors. Browns, but yellows. Reds, but whites. Blues, but silvers. Oranges, but also kind of pinkish. Oh… it's just all the colors of an old-timey sepia-tinted photo!

I more just wanted to talk about how sometimes, you can do everything right, you can do test tiles and figure out what you want and it can still go wrong at the last minute. And it doesn't mean you're an idiot, it doesn't mean you're a talentless hack.

She is so organized, so on top of things, and so genuine and kind that she's really spoiled me for other events! So I'm almost packed, although I still have some soap to wrap and at least one more kiln firing I want to get to. I'm in that "running around like a chicken with my head cut off" stage.
