Funnily enough, I am trans, my daughter is trans, and my wife's only niece is trans, and we all had no idea until a few years ago. Only a few family members to go! Its a beautiful thing!

First season was fantastic and the ending was like "ok yes so we just raised the stakes to an intolerable level...SO NOW WE'RE GONNA RAISE THEM SOME MORE!" But it was downhill from season 2 really.

A once hardcore trekkie friend of mine actually turned their nose up at Discovery because it was apparently pushing too much "politics", as if the older star trek never pushed progressive boundaries and was just about Picard and his roll out keyboard.
