I can't believe the state of public discourse has fallen so far that when concerns arise over horny mods the focus is on "dog girl bust." Don't people know that the modding community has a rich legacy of traditions like "turn all the trees in Stardew Valley into busty trans dryads"

Whoa did you know Venezuela had smuggled "THOUSANDS of tons of cocaine" into the US? That's at least 4 million pounds of cocaine. That's like, an 8-ball of coke for every person in the US, and supposedly a fraction of the Pacific-bound imports here. Have you all been doing a ton of coke without me

This is a good week to appreciate the massive posters of the Beehive Design Collective, which for years have portrayed the extractive colonial-capitalism that allows the US to prey on and dominate Latin America by force.

Jason S. does “what if” in an semi-amusing writerly way, but these aren’t super-choice scenarios (error-sensitive sites of intense decision-maker choices). Bigger question: will people bother to care about LLM-powered code autocomplete / co-coding tools, in wide use and 99% undisclosed anywhere?
