I thought the first 2 books of his trilogy (Weatern Front and Eastern Front) gave a nice framework for me and got me more interested generally in WW1/FWW.

I appreciated how that played out in your book The Balance of Heaven and Earth.

I recently read Earl Hess book on cavalry in the ACW - I hadn't fully considered the role and perspective of the horse in those units. He did a nice job bringing that out.
