Mantises are charismatic, powerful, attractive... and banned from most of alliance space.
They are one of the few spacefaring species that have no qualms in eating other intelligent life. But how could they not when most other species are so small, short-lived, and scrumptious?

These two have seemingly taken their characters into being completely iconic that any chance to try to do them again in any subsequent movies will feel almost completely dull and lifeless in comparison.
