I streamed #DeadTake over the weekend. It was quite an experience. I think its a good example of a game where it focuses most on telling a story that it wants to tell above all else. The gameplay isn't exactly ground breaking (although the splice mechanic is a nice puzzle and method of exposition).

I'm really glad that @foxrox13.bsky.social and I got to get back into Slay the Spire with Pristine Cut. Trying out new routes and seeing what was expanded on was thrilling, and I found the game as emotionally compelling as before. I'd love to talk to the developer at some point.
