Εγω είχα το προνόμιο να ειμαι απο τους λίγους επιβάτες ενός 777 προς NY που περασαν εξτρα έλεγχο απο TSA ακριβώς πριν την επιβιβαση- μαζί με μια οικογενεια Γερμανών με μικρά παιδιά.

It is a humanitarian act in the sense that it highlights the suffering of the Gazans and the impossibility of feeding the population.

I dont think anyone claimed that the aid carried in the boats would solve the humanitarian crisis.

Yes. And frankly we feel surrounded by extremists on all sides for whom our personal discomfort is of no importance whatsoever. Which to be sure isn't the same as being bombed in Ukraine or Gaza, or deported from the US. But should matter in some way.

Many pundits today are pushing the line that everyone who protests the genocide in Gaza is basically either antisemitic or tolerant of antisemitism. But isn't that precisely the conflation of the actions of the Israeli gov't with all Jewish people, which is at the heart of this wave of antisemitism?

Εκανα μια σχετικη ερωτηση σε εναν υπαλληλο, που ενθουσιαστηκε και αρχισε να μιλαει για τη λειτουργια των μοντερνων μουσειων και φτασαμε μεχρι post-colonialism👍🙂

Δες το ως εκδρομη στο εξωτικο ανατολικο Λονδινο.

Δεν ειναι τοσο ασχημα με τρενο/ Jubilee (ετσι γυρισαμε), απλα καλυτερα απεφυγε το Stratford Σαββατο απογευμα γεματο με καθε καρυδιας shopper απο Westfield.

Επισης μπορεις και απο Hackney Wick, θελει District/ Victoria/ Overground.
